Following projects have been realized in the last years :
Plasma-sensor

Market survey and inquiries at a supplier of plasma-sources did not
reveal any sensor
that can be used for detecting plasma.
The plasma-source in question is a low power model, so plasma being
ignited can not
be monitored by checking power consumption.
As a result we designed and produced our own plasma-sensor. The
measuring principle is
determining the conductivity of the environment around the
plasma-torch. That way it can be
determined accurately wether the plasma-source is ignited.

Design signal
beacon

For functionality implementation of a design signal beacon (for
detail see here)
a PCB was
designed containing a 16-channel led-intensity driver. Central
component is a small
PIC-microcontroller which controls the led-intensity of each channel
by means of PWM
(Pulse Width Modulation).
Due to performance-demands the controller is programmed in assembly-language.
UV-intensity measurement-unit

For a machine containing a UV 'curing' section
that cures monomer to
a polymer, electronics
has
been designed which measures UV-intensity.
The PCB contains 32 measurement-channels consisting of a photo-diode
and a high-gain
current amplifier.
These channels are multiplexed in time for read-out by a host system
(a PLC in this particular
case).
The PCB also contains a control circuit for controlling the
UV-intensity to a requested
setpoint by means of electronic ballasts.
Design and relisation of several libraries

For a number of very often occuring control-functions (cylinders /
valves, vacuum pickers and
state-sequencers) drivers were developed. They are based upon
years-long experience with
similar drivers.
The drivers developed are fully according our own requirements and
wishes.
