Library 'biaVAC_lib' for B&R platforms
The ‘biaVAC_lib’ library contains functions and function blocks that can be used for the control of
vacuum devices.

Function block ‘VAC_VacuumDevice’
Contains functionality for operating a vacuum-device
(via a discrete valve or venturi-device).
This functionality includes:

• support of vacuum-monitoring (discrete or analog)
• support of vacuum-monitored and non-vacuum-monitored vacuum-commands
• monitoring of status and performance (time-to-vacuum, time-to-released,
  raising of alarms and warnings on several criteria)
• support of active release (‘blow-off’)
• inhibit-functionality (inhibiting of vacuum/atmospheric on or off)
• support of manual operation (via HMI or SCADA system)
• interface built with 'enumeration' type variables (easy application debugging)

Configurable are:

• vacuum-detection type (discrete or analog)
• device ID (numerical and in text)
• state definitions (in text, e.g. 'grip', 'released' etc. for HMI or SCADA)
• default- and maximum allowable vacuum- and atmospheric times
• error-, warning- display-offsets (for HMI purposes)

Monitoring of operation:

• monitoring and guarding of vacuum- and release-times
• monitoring and guarding of vacuum- or atmospheric pressure lost
• guarding of inhibit-inputs (inhibiting of vacuum/atmospheric on or off)
• guarding of invalid commands or configurations
