Library 'biaSEQ_lib' for B&R platforms
The ‘biaSEQ_lib’ contains functions and function blocks which facilitate 'state-machines'
in PLC software.
Function block ‘SEQ_StateEngine’
This function block is the core component for a state-machine.
The offered functionality includes:
- direct activation of a default-status
- step-transition via 'step up' bit (stepsize configurable) or
direct to any desired step
- integrated 'command' variabele
- pulse output at command and/or step transition
- monitoring on maximum allowed dwell time in a step (per step
configurable)
- monitoring and logging of command, step and dwell time history
- stopping (and restarting) of the historic logging (for
'snap-shot'
analysis during operation)
- HMI / SCADA output structure for monitoring command / step /
dwell time history
Configurable are:
- default status (step and command)
- device ID (numerical and textual)
- step-size for the 'step up' command
- default maximum step dwell-time
- step dependent alarm-generation at exceeding the maximum step dwell
time
- alarm-generation at exceeding the maximum step dwell time on or off
- historic command/step/dwell time logging on or off
